Explanation of the 3 states of the Product Life Cycle:
•General Availability: availability of the release together with a definition of certified software components (system requirements)
•Mature: new major release available, no more current patches/hot fixes, fixes of severe or operation-impeding errors (evaluation is performed by the distributor) only if the customer provides an adequate reason not to upgrade to the next product version.
•Retired: after about 12 months of mature phase, fixes for retired products are generally with costs, the evaluation of operation-impeding errors is performed by the distributor
Note: Java JDK 7 (Update 60) and Apache Tomcat 7.0.54 are supported by WebOffice 10R3 SP5.
Deprecation notes:
-Support for WebOffice usermanagement database type MSACCESS will not be supported from WebOffice 10 R3 on.
-Only dynamic ePaper configuration will be supported from WebOffice 10 R3 on.
-We announce end of support for WebOffice 4.x (for ArcIMS).
-No explicit lookup configuration for search and result fields will be supported from the following Major Release on. Only a general lookup configuration on layer level will be provided.
With WebOffice 10R3 SP3 also Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) and Windows Phone 8 are supported.
WebOffice Releases and supported ArcGIS versions:
- WebOffice 10R3 for ArcGIS Server is certified to work with at ArcGIS Server 10 services only. At least ArcGIS Server 10 SP2 is needed, ArcGIS Server 10 SP4 is recommended.
- With WebOffice 10R3 SP1 and later ArcGIS 10 SP5 is also supported and recommended.
