Measure Arc Length

Note: At the time measuring in projects using a geographic coordinate system is not supported.

 

This tool can be used to define the course angle. By indicating a start and end point this tool calculates the course angle and the distance from the start to the end point. The course angles for the four cardinal directions are:

0° (N)

90° (E)

180° (S)

270° (W)

If the user specifies a start and an end point in the map, then the course angle and the distance will be calculated. In addition the north direction will be drawn as orientation guide.

 

Note: The line of the north direction is 75 % from the distance from start to end point.
