Use the Print format element for providing configuration properties for a specific print template and its related print template document (.layout file) as well as Print tool form default settings.

Template ID |
Template ID of Plot Extension template. If e.g. the print template file is named A4 portrait.layout, then the Template ID is A4 portrait, i.e. the file name without extension. Note: Do not use any special characters in the print template file name like ä, ö, ü, ß etc.

Print scales |
Optionally Specifies the available Print scales and the preselected (default) Print scale. The first value provided in the list of values gets preselected. Print scale values get delimited by "|", so if you e.g. want to provide a choice of print scales 1000, 2500, 5000 and 10000 then use 1000|2500|5000|10000.
Tip: Use ‘CE’ for preselecting the option 'Current extent', use 'CS' for preselecting the option 'Current scale'. |
Allow Free Scale? |
Specifies whether the user is allowed to define a free printscale on projects with predefined scale levels ("Yes") or not ("No"/Default). |
DPI resolution |
Resolution for print out (in DPI) when choosing high resolution in Print tool form. The value is usually a multiple of 96 (192 or 288). The low resolution print out works with screen resolution (96 DPI). |
Do high resolution print by default? |
Specifies whether to check the high resolution option in Print tool form for this Print format by default or not. |
Map view |
Specifies the map view to be used for print output. The current layer visibility setting in the client gets ignored then. This way specific plot contents are assured. If no map view is referenced here, then the current layer visibility setting in the client is taken into account. |
From search result only? |
Specifies whether the print template is available from the search result page only (the plot template will not be available in the template list of the print tool form). Use option "Yes" whenever layer specific attribute data is displayed in the print page.
Note: Be sure to have a Print template with attribute data configured on the desired search result view. For detailed information see chapter Print Templates related to the Search Result. |
Suppress Copyright? |
Specifies if the copyright display is suppressed in the print. Additionally, this configuration parameter provides the function field syn_copyright with correspondant multilingual information from map services from map collection (attribute Copyright). The field syn_copyright can be used in print and ePaper templates where it is filled with the dynamic copyright text. The field syn_copyright is not to be changed by the user.
Note: Prerequisite for the use of dynamic copyright texts is the configuration of the map element Copyright which is necessary to display any copyright text. |
Default rotation |
Specifies the default print rotation for this print template. |
