How dynamic Printing works

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The functionality of dynamic printing is to use an ArcGIS Server map service for printing that contains all visible contents. Therefore an empty dummy service is used that gets dynamically filled. WebOffice 10 R3 iterates through all layers of all integrated map services, selects the visible layers and transfers them to the SynPlotService, data frame print.

Configured logo and function fields are read out from the configuration. If relative paths are configured they are taken from the application server. The ArcGISSoc process of the SynPlotService fetches the image from the specified location, therefore it needs access to the specified folder.
