WebOffice 10 R3 introduces a map collection concept, e.g. it is possible to

 

1.Define a set off maps as default map collection (administrator) to make those maps available for the user

2.Dynamically add a map (of type OGC WMS or ArcGIS Server Internet Service) (user)

 

The map collection concept provides a lot of advantages

 

•Blending maps

•Displaying one map on top of the other

•Quickly and easily switching between different maps within the WebOffice 10 R3 client

•Displaying maps only in certain scales (minimal and maximal scales)

 

The properties of each of these maps can be changed by the administrator (defining the default properties) and by the user:

 

•Maps can be set to visible or invisible,

•The map transparency level can be changed. This is especially useful for blending multiple maps,

•For services added dynamically by the user, the maximum wait time can be set by the user,

•For services added dynamically by the user, the position of the map within the map collection can be changed.
