It is recommended to specify PDF (web optimized) as Default output format.

Specifies, if printing of overview map is handled dynamically ('Yes'), i.e. the content and extent of the overview map currently displayed in the WebOffice client will get rendered into the plot document.

Hint: If option 'Yes' is used, then a print map service must be configured for the print tool that contains an empty dataframe called 'overview'.

If there is no Series Print configured, instead of the Print Series - button, the Define Extent - button will appear, with which a predefined scale or print area can be selected.

Note: For detailed information about the series print option, please see chapter Print series.

There are two typical configuration scenarios for Print tool:

Quick and easy: No Print Templates are configured at all. WebOffice 10 R3 dynamically reads all Print Templates (.layout files) stored in the template path and provides them as available Print Templates in the WebOffice 10 R3 client Print tool form.

Advanced: If you want to use specific text fields, simple reporting of attribute data etc. you should configure Print format elements for each Print format you want to make available for the user.

Note: If you choose the ‘Advanced’ configuration option then only Print Templates explicitly configured in the WebOffice 10 R3 project are available for printing.

See chapter Print for more details.
