WebOffice ePaper is the reporting module which provides powerful reporting functionality for the WebOffice 10 R3 client:

Multiple different data sources can be integrated together into one resulting document,

Images and documents can be integrated as well

Dynamic behavior of documents can be implemented (e.g. Hyperlinks etc.)

Data dependent rendering of reports is supported

Header pages, Footer pages, statistics functions, multi page documents and much more can be implemented.

GeoOffice ePaper report templates get used for generating end user reports. This way identical reporting templates can be used for web and desktop solutions.

See WO ePaper author_User Manual 10 R3 SP1.pdf for details on how to design and configure ePaper templates.

In order to use WebOffice ePaper the following software components need to be available:

WebOffice ePaper author and the

WebOffice ePaper (ArcGIS Server extension) as well as

WebOffice 10 R3 standard

Note that you need a WebOffice ePaper license for running WebOffice ePaper reports.

Note that WebOffice ePaper maps ePaper templates to layers using the Layer name. Therefore Layer names must be unique to avoid mapping problems.

See document Getting Started, chapter Licensing for details.

In order to provide reporting functionality in WebOffice 10 R3, you need to specify ePaper templates (.mrt files). Use WebOffice ePaper author toolbar in ArcMap for this:
