The parameter activetools=MAPTIP will display the maptip tool.
Note: The parameters showmaptip and callback_maptip_mw can optionally be used. The maptip is available for those layers (point, line and polygon), which are configured for maptip. Please consider the information for the configuration of the maptip within the chapters Identify MapTip and MapTip.
Note: The parameter showmaptip (true|false, by default true) only works in combination with callback_maptip_mw. When showmaptip=false, the maptip popup does not appear. This scenario is useful, when the main application only wants to get the callback of the maptip, but not want to show the popup.

Maptip Tool
After having activated the maptip tool, you can click any object in the map, that is configured for MapTip. This configuration influences the number of fields in the maptip popup. In case several objects from different layer are overlapping, the maptip will display the resultfields from the object that is at the top of the table of content.
The pixel tolerance for the maptip tool is the same as for the identify tool and can be configured in WebOffice Defaults. The maptip popup disappears after the next map update (pan, zoom or click) or after deactivating the maptip tool.
Note: However a pan or zoom operation is possible when the maptip is activated. The maptip popup also supports hyperlinks and call protocols.
