Using the Neighbor search functionality it is possible for users to quickly and easily get neighboring objects or near objects based on a selection of given objects. Result of Neighbor search is an object list ordered by distance. In the search result a column named Distance gets added. This additional column is available in .csv (Excel) export as well.
This function is similar to the Buffer tool function (see Buffer) but easier to use.

If only objects within or adjacent to the selected object should get returned, then use 0 as configuration value.
Hint: For walking distances a value of 200 (meters) is recommended because it takes 1-2 minutes for this distance. If driving distances are interesting then e.g. 10000 is a useful value. |
Number of hits |
Number of hits. WebOffice stops searching if the configured number of hits have already been found. |

Change map view? |
Specifies whether the map view referenced by the neighbor search result layer should be used for displaying the results ("Yes") or not ("No"). Note: WebOffice mobile client currently does not allow multiple feature selection. Therefore, the map view will change only with the selection of a single search result of the neighbor search. |
