Open the context menu with a right-mouse click and add as many Search Result View elements as desired.

A Search result specifies:

Result Field List: Specify which attribute fields are to be displayed

Integration of External Application: 1 or multiple web applications to be called

Neighbor Search: Creates a selection of features of a specified layer inside a specified distance, sorted ascending by distance)

JOIN 1:1: A 1:1 relation with another database table

RELATE 1:n: A 1:n relation with another database table

Print Templates with Attribute Data: enable the user to immediately print from his search result including simple reporting (attributive data of one or multiple selected objects)

Integrator Client Configuration: Key field to be used for VertiGIS Integrator (System integration with desktop applications)

If only a search result view is configured without any sub elements then all attribute fields of the respective layer will be displayed in the WebOffice 10.9 SP1 clients.

Search result view configuration

Search result view configuration

Name of the search result displayed in WebOffice 10.9 SP1 clients (search result window title).

Show filter control?

Specifies whether the filter control gets displayed in the search result by default or not. Using the filter control it gets very easy for the user to filter data in the search result using attributive filter criteria.

Show the query result name?

Specifies whether the query result name (Yes) or the object name (No) should be displayed in the WebOffice flex Client. Default: No.

Show only object name?

Specifies whether only the object name (Yes) or each field value separately (No) of the WebOffice flex (flash) Client gets displayed by default.

This parameter is WebOffice flex (flash) specific.

Restrict for

Specifies if the search result is restricted for

- MapTip: search result is available for Identify MapTip tool only

- Label Feature: search result is available for Label Feature tool only

- Label Multiple: search result is available for Label Multiple only

- Custom Query: Search result is available for Custom Query tool only

- K5 labeling: Search result is available for K5 labeling tool only.

Allow csv export?

Defines if the user can export the query result as a CSV file.

Allow Excel/XSLX export?

Defines if the user can export the query result as an spreadsheet file.

Use this option if exporting with Microsoft Excel 2007 or Microsoft Excel 2010 (both *.xlsx). If exporting with Microsoft Excel 2003 or an older version, formatting properties (e.g. comma) can be lost. Use the CSV export.

Allow Extract?

Defines whether a selection of features can be exported using the data extract tool (Yes) or not (No).

First configure the export profiles on the tool that are to be available within your WebOffice 10.9 SP1 project. Find more details in chapter WebOffice extract server.

A list of extract profiles must be configured on the parent layer of this query result.

By default a selection only creates the spatial extent for extracting the defined feature classes of the extract configuration. If a selection should also result in filtering the exported features, it is required to define the layer identifier as the layer name in the extract configuration.

For more details on the functionality in the WebOffice core client see chapter Export from a search result.

Allow statistics?

Defines if the result allows statistic functions for the selected features.

Minimize Result?

Defines if the result list should be displayed minimized (Yes) or opened (No).

Layer name in full-text suggestion

Defines whether the layer name is to be appended in brackets to the object name when a feature of this Layer is displayed as a suggestion for the full-text search. Default: No, i.e. the layer name is not shown.

Use Results for Routing?

Defines whether the results of this search result view may be used as stops when the Routing functionality is configured.

Show Relates separately?

Defines if multiple relates on a result are displayed as single relate buttons (Yes, Default) or get displayed as a single button (No).

Copy coordinate to clipboard?

Defines whether the coordinates of the object center point can be copied to clipboard (Yes) or not (No). In order to copy the coordinates, you need to press the respective button in the search result for each single hit.

By default the coordinates will be copied based on the projection of the main map service of the project.

On layer query level it is possible to configure additional projections in order to copy coordinates also into other spatial references.

Detailed information in chapter Coordinates To Clipboard.

Suppress fieldnames for relates?

This setting influences the behavior of the tool Label Feature.

It is possible to decide whether the field names shall be included in the label or only the field values.

If the value of Suppress fieldnames for relates? is set to Yes (default: No), no fieldnames will be printed for possible related layers.

Access control ID

Access control ID needed for access control based on WebOffice usermanagement.

If both an ID is configured here (eg SEARCH_RESULT_CITIES) and WebOffice usermanagement is used, the user role is checked whether it provides the necessary application right or not (according to the example the application right would be SEARCH_RESULT_CITIES). If the necessary application right is not available, the search result view will not be available in WebOffice.

Use this function, if you want to restrict certain fields for certain groups. In that case, configure different search result views and assign them via Access control ID to certain groups in WebOffice usermanagement.
