Label Feature
The Label Feature tool enables labeling of point, line and polygon objects with content from the feature defined by a Search Result View.

Free labeling tool properties
All layer that should be available for free labeling need to have a search result view that is Restricted for Free Labeling.

•Consider that it is possible to suppress the fieldnames of related objects with the parameter Suppress fieldnames for relates. •Consider that it is possible to change the pixel tolerance for free labeling with the parameter Pixel Tolerance for Identify. •To label multiple objects from several layers for the printout, it should be easier and more be effective to use Simple Thematic Mapping. The style with labels for the whole layer can be defined accordingly. •Up to now, the parameter Sort/object name on a result field of a search result restricted for Free labeling implicitly determined whether a field is initially activated for the Free labeling tool or not - from now on, this is controlled by means of the new parameter Use field name for Label Feature? |
