WebOffice flex supports both global and thematic full-text search and if configured the respective tool form will always be initially displayed in the client.

 

Depending on your WebOffice 10.9 R3 configuration the initial tool form can vary in its appearance. See the figures below to understand how the full-text search form appears based on your configuration environment.

Global and Thematic Full-Text Search

If both varieties of the full-text search are configured in your WebOffice 10.9 R3 project, you can simply choose between them by selecting the according dropdown item:

All Layers = global full-text search

Other dropdown items = thematic full-text search

Note: VertiGIS recommends to try to cover as much as possible with the global full-text search, since it follows the widely used see what you get approach (e.g. Google search). Use thematic full-text search only where absolutely necessary.

 

Start entering the term to be queried and depending on the configuration a number of hits will appear below the tool form.

Click k to reset any text input

Click j to execute the query with your text input

Hit Enter on your keyboard to execute the query with your text input

Select a suggestion to execute the query with the suggestion
