ArcGIS Server Output Service

The ArcGIS Server Output Service represents the central output service which is used for various WebOffice 10.9 R4 operations such as printing (Legacy), ePaper reports, extract server, reprojection, etc. The central output service can be replaced by other specific output services that can be configured for e.g. the Printing Legacy Tool or map services that use different projections.

In general, the output service will be configured already during creating the WebOffice 10.9 R4 project with the Create Project wizard. Find more details in chapter New Project.

In case you are using map services with a ArcGIS Web Adaptor, it is recommended to configure the ArcGIS Server Output Service also via ArcGIS Web Adaptor (e.g. http://<server>/<webadaptor name>/rest/services/SynOutputService/MapServer) to guarantee high quality prints.

Detailed information about the use of these attributes can be found in chapters Template (File Name) and WebOffice ePaper Template (File Name).
