ArcGIS Server PrintingTools (Geoprocessing Service)

The ArcGIS Server PrintingTools (Geoprocessing Service) are used by WebOffice 10.9 R3 to process printing tasks.

Property

Description

Server

Specifies the URL of the ArcGIS geoprocessing service.

Example ArcGIS GP service: https://<myserver.domain.com><port>/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer

Service name (GUI)

Service name of GP-Service displayed in the GUI.

Metadata URL

Configure a reference to a metadata document (must be available via HTTP) as URL.

You may configure the unique Metadata document identifier (UUID) of a Catalog Service (CSW 2.0) here. In this case you must configure the SOAP interface of the Catalog Services in Metadata Display.

Metadata short description

Provide a short description for the metadata (line breaks with \n).

Copyright

Service specific copyright text to be added to the configured project copyright if the map service contributes to the map.

Timeout für asynchronous execution (sec)

Specifies how long the client waits for results of the asynchronous executed task. If the task was executed successfully during this time, the result will be processed immediately if possible.

If the maximum time has elapsed, the client will be available again. With setting the value to 0 the client will not wait for any results.

Service user

User login for accessing the ArcGIS Server GP service (ArcGIS service user).

Password

Password of user accessing ArcGIS Server GP-service.

Geoprocessing Task ID for the export

ID (Name) of Task to be executed for the export.

In the ArcGIS Server standard installation, this task is called Export Web Map Task and it can be found in the Service Utilities/PrintingTools.

The VertiGIS Studio Printing Engine task is called Vertigis Print Task, and can be found in the Service VertiGIS_Utilities/VertiGISPrinting_Tools.

GP-Task ID for the list of templates

ID (Name) of Task to be executed for the list of templates.

In the ArcGIS Server standard installation the task is called Get Layout Templates Info Task and is located in the Utilities/PrintingTools service or in the VertiGIS_Utilities/VertiGISPrinting_Tools service.

GP-Task ID to get the index info

Technical identifier of the geoprocessing task to be executed to query the areas of each page for index printing.

This parameter is only relevant when using VertiGIS Studio Printing Engine.
