WebOffice author automatically keeps the UserManagement database (UMDB) base data in sync when using the UserManagement option in the Basic settings menu.

 

 

Note that connection syntax for connecting with a dedicated port is "host\instance,port".

 

Anyway note that with WebOffice author it is only possible to access UserManagement databases with data model Version 10 R3 (e.g. you can not store data into a UserManagement database version 10 or older). It is strongly recommended to upgrade the UserManagement database from 10 to Version 10 R3 then.
