The currently selected map view can be displayed on the print template by implementing a function field with the technical ID "syn_mapview". As soon as it is available on the print template, the map view gets inserted automatically in a language dependent way.

 

Note: It is not necessary to configure this field in WebOffice author in order to only display the map view since it works automatically.

 

In case the function field "syn_mapview_caption" is also implemented in the print template, a new custom function field with the technical ID "syn_mapview_caption" and the desired field caption/value (e.g. "Current Map View") has to be created in your WebOffice 10 R3 project.
