Prerequisite for starting the full-text search wizard is one ore more query with at least one configured search field each (i.e. generated by create layer query wizard).

Step 1 |
Choose one layer from the layers with at least one configured search field by clicking the leftmost button. Enable the Full-text search and decide whether the layer name is to be appended in brackets to the object name when a feature of this Layer is displayed as a suggestion for the full-text search (Show layer name checked) or not (Show layer name unchecked). At the bottom the general minimum user input length for the full-text search can be configured.

All available fields get listed. Choose the fields in which you would like to search on the layer.

Step 3 |
In this step you can choose between •creating a new query result and •reusing an already existing one.

Check the "show field?" checkbox to use a result field. The sort "order/object name" is very important. The terms given as suggestions when typing a search phrase are taken from this configuration. In the example above a typed phrase that fits to a country code (see step 2) would give you the value of "City Name" + "Country Name" as suggestion.
