Windows Update for the security of your Server OS should be regularly, but it is strongly recommended not to update your production system automatically.

 

The security updates have do be done and checked by the administrator, because security settings maybe reset by the updates and affect WebOffice 10 R3 behavior.

 

For staging or test systems we also recommend disabling automatic Windows Updates. This way the update process can be comprehended. In some cases it might be useful to do a full system backup before updating.
