Navigation:  Troubleshooting, Error Analysis, logging > Troubleshooting FTS-Index > Clarify if the FTS-Index Application started (properly)

If it is unclear whether the FTS-index application started (properly), enter the URL of the FTS-index (e.g. http://localhost:8080/FTS-Index) into your browser. The new site must show a message saying "Welcome to Solr!". If this is not the case, either the URL is incorrect or the FTS-index application has to be tested as shown in the chapters The FTS-Index is locked and A direct Browser Call of the FTS-Index causes an Error Message.
