A direct Browser Call of the FTS-Index causes an Error Message

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

If the URL of the FTS-index is directly called in the browser and an error message "HTTP Status 500 - Severe error in solr configuration" appear, please

check if the file "<Tomcat install directory>/webapps_custom/FTS-Index/solr/data/index/write.lock" exists. In the case it exists, delete the file and restart the FTS-index application.

clean the entire directory "<Tomcat install directory>/webapps_custom/FTS-Index/solr/data" by deleting the subdirectories "index" and "spellchecker". Then restart the FTS-index application and recreate your subindices in SynAdmin.

If neither option 1 nor 2 solves the problem, the file "schema.xml" or another component of the FTS-index is corrupted. In this case a reinstalling of the FTS-index application from the WebOffice10R3-DVD is required. All subindices have to be recreated in SynAdmin.
