Using the Style configuration of tool Upload local geodata, it is possible to specify the layer symbology of the uploaded geodata.

A Style is made up of a reference to an Esri layer file (.lyr) and a name. Depending on the renderer used in the saved layer file, the layer file may be

specific to the geometry type of the layer only (e.g. a simple symbol) or

specific to the underlying feature class (e.g. if using labeling or unique values renderer etc.)

 

Note: WebOffice 10 R3 does not support any customer rendering in layer files.

It is recommended to specify the symbology you want to get displayed by using ArcMap functionality. You can then store the layer symbology by saving an Esri layer file which implements the specific symbology.
