Representation models or Map views are very useful to make switching between various views on the Map collection easier for the user.
The Table of content is a Map view as well. It is special anyway because it is the Map view that by default gets displayed initially and has its representation in the WebOffice 10 R3 client (Table of content stack).
Using WebOffice author it is possible to specify a list of Map views which get displayed as a list in the WebOffice 10 R3 client.

Name of ‘Table of content’ |
The default map view displayed by WebOffice when the project is opened, is specified in the 'TOC of Map collection' (see chapter Table of Content (TOC of Map Collection). For being able to later on switch back to this map view, a name shown in the map views list box of the WebOffice Client should be configured. Recommended names are e.g. 'Standard' or 'Initial View'. Hint: If you do not configure a valid value for this attribute then the user will not be able to switch back to the map displayed when opening the WebOffice project in the browser. |
Map views switch type (FLEX) |
Map views switch type is flex-specific attribute an contains three different options: -Compact: The available map views will be displayed in a list. Only the name of the currently selected map view is shown. Choose this option if you have more then 5 map views, -Expandable: All available map views will be displayed side by side in a row. Choose this option if you have less or equal then 5 map views. -Preview: Choose this option if you want to display the preview of the map views. |
