WebOffice 10 R3 is able to display
•a set of maps simultaneously (blending) or
•one map at a certain point of time only (switching between maps)
because the map collection concept was introduced (see Map collection).
By using predefined map views (see chapter Representation models / Map views) it gets very easy for the user to switch between different views on this map collection.
Concerning caches the map collection and map views concept can be used to quickly switch between map caches. At a certain point of time only one map cache is visible and therefore gets displayed very quickly.
