On the general element Layer Queries it is possible to define some WebOffice flex (flash) specific parameters that will have impact on the used colors for layer queries. With a right mouse-click you can add several ArcGIS Layers and specify some layer specific functionality in general.
Layer queries configuration
Property |
Description |
Search headers - First gradient color |
First color of the gradient filling the background of all search headers in the WebOffice flex (flash) client. Note: This parameter is WebOffice flex (flash) specific! Note: Configurable separately for each query as well. |
Search headers - Second gradient color |
Second color of the gradient filling the background of all search headers in the WebOffice flex (flash) client. Note: This parameter is WebOffice flex (flash) specific! Note: Configurable separately for each query as well. |
Search header - Text color |
Text color of all search headers in the WebOffice flex (flash) client. Note: This parameter is WebOffice flex (flash) specific! Note: Configurable separately for each query as well. |
Search headers - Hover color |

Note: See chapter Queries for details about queries in the WebOffice flex (flash) client.
Layer configuration
Property |
Description |
Layer name which is displayed in •query form for grouping all predefined queries on this layer •tool forms as layer name in the WebOffice 10.8 SP2 clients. Note: If "Layer name" is not set (empty value) then by default the ArcMap layer name will be used. |
|
Layer ID |
Layer ID used to reference the WebOffice 10.8 SP2 Layer configuration to the map layer. Note: The Layer ID is built using the name of the top level layer group (ArcMap table of content) if existing plus the name of the layer (ArcMap table of content) See figure below!
![]() Layer ID example
|
Specifies if the user is able to search on the layer (using attributive search criteria). If the layer is configured for search then •the list of search fields •one or more predefined queries must be configured. Note: One or more search results may be configured for each layer. |
|
Map refresh with result display? |
Specifies whether executing a query will display all results in the largest possible scale ("map and zoom"), will keep the current scale if possible ("map and pan") or will display the query result without map refresh ("no map update"). |
Specifies if identify or select (selection tools etc.) is possible on the layer. If "Yes", a search result should be configured for this layer. |
|
Layer category |
Group category for layer lists displayed for the following tools: identify, select, label feature, buffer, MapTip and editing. Layer categories are defined in the List of Layer Categories. |
Show null values? |
Show null values in result display (Yes) or not (No). |
Search result for Info/Identify |
Specifies the default search result used for displaying the result of identify/select operations. |
Scale to be used for displaying search results (especially single objects) in the map. If "0" is set, the value defined on project level (see chapter Display) is used. |
|
Specifies a specific map view/representation model to be displayed when displaying the search result. If not configured the search result gets displayed using the current map view, i.e. the current map display is not changed at all. |
|
Dynamic selection display? |
Specifies if map selection display gets rendered using dynamic animated selection symbols. Note: Dynamic selection display only works if a Dynamic Selection is configured on project level. |
Show only with result display? |
Specifies if the layer is only shown as result of a query. Note: Using this property only has effect on the visibility of the affected layer, not on the visibility of a group or a map service. Furthermore a specified Map view for search result will be ignored. |
Specifies if the linear referencing functionality should be used on this layer. This is possible only if the data is a route created with Esri Linear Referencing module. Note: For details on how to configure a search using measures, see the HowTo chapter Search for Route Segments. |
|
Specifies if related layers will be shown in search results (Yes) or not (No). This is valid for ArcMap relates. WebOffice relates are not affected by this option. The user has the possibility to delete them directly on the Layer if they should not appear in the project. Note: This parameter may be useful, if you have got ArcMap relates which you do not want to display in WebOffice 10.8 SP2. |
Layer properties
Note: By right clicking on "Search/query on layer" -> "New" -> "Add all layers as ArcGIS layer" it is possible to add all layers from all configured map services as layers to the list.
