The toolbar of the WebOffice flex client is positioned on the top right and contains the tools of the project. As the WebOffice flex client is designed to be used by non-professionals, the user interface has to contain as little items as possible. Therefor, the toolbar is split into two groups of tools:

•group of permanent tools

•group of initially hidden tools

Permanent Tools

The tools permanently shown in the toolbar should resemble the most import most widely used ones. When configuring permanent tools, the first configured tool in the list, will be placed most right.

Note: VertiGIS recommendation for permanent tools: print, measure, language change, maptip (if not activated by default).

 

 

Initially Hidden Tools

The other tool group is initially collapsed to reduce the user interface weight. Place less widely used tools into this group. They can be accessed by a click on m.

 

If the window width falls below a certain size, the hidden tools are moved into the Small Container and the Small Button is displayed.
