ArcGIS Server Feature Service
Since WebOffice version 10.7 ArcGIS Server Feature Services are implemented with the same functionalities as ArcGIS Server Map Services. These can now not only be used for editing, but are also suitable for displaying, selecting, identifying and searching. Thus, all functions that can be performed with ArcGIS Server Map Services are also possible with ArcGIS Server Feature Services. Configure Map Service Properties for the map service to manage specific properties for a particular service.
For using layers from a feature service to be edited first configure the Edit Layer based on the map service and refer to the layer from the feature service.
|
•Using WebOffice Version 10.6 R2 SP1 or higher, a ArcGIS Feature Service can be used for displaying a map image. •The display of ArcGIS Server Feature Services is only supported in the clients based on ArcGIS API for JavaScript WebOffice flex and WebOffice core. •When printing via the Server Object Extension, objects from ArcGIS Server feature services cannot be included. However, this functionality is supported by VertiGIS Studio Printing Engine. •ArcGIS Server Feature Services can also be implemented as a main Map Service. •WebOffice 10.9 R4 projects no longer require an ArcGIS Server Map Service, but may include ArcGIS Server Feature Services only. •However, a feature service published via ArcGIS Pro does not offer a visualization of the legend in the Table of Contents (TOC). |
