Additional elements in the Main Map Display are the scale bar, north arrow and the copyright section.

 

 

Scale bar

The scale bar is positioned on the right lower corner and can be adapted by configuration regarding to size, color and scale unit.

North arrow and Copyright-Section

The north arrow and the copyright-section is positioned in the left lower corner of the client. Based on the configuration there are two different possibilities concerning the display of copyright elements:

Notes and Warnings

Map indications and notifications are displayed in WebOffice core Client. This messages are shown on top of the main map display.

Messages will be shown, if:

additional information should be provided

the user should be warned

oregarding unexpected situations while processing server responses or

oof user-interactions that lead to unexpected results

 

Furthermore the messages will be shown in different colors. Green colored hints include additional information regarding the process of functionality in

WebOffice core Client.

Yellow colored messages are standing for unexpected situations in WebOffice core Client.

Red colored messages indicate not executable functionality. In the following case the user has to enter a correct value for the query street name, so that WebOffice 10.9 R4 is able to execute the query.

Note: In WebOffice core client intercepted SOE Errors could be shown in the user interface.

Therefore it is also possible, that database-specific Error-Messages (e. g. underlying DB error) can be shown in the GUI. If you configure an unique constraint on an attribute field on database-level and the user enters an existing value twice - the corresponding (database) error message can be displayed in the client. To use intercepted SOE Errors you have to configure a specific attribute on the edit tool. For details see intercepted SOE Errors in chapter Editing.
