How to… > Create a new Restrictions for Layers entry

Specifying Restrictions for Layers, you can implement access rights for one or multiple specific Layers.

Grouprights for Layers

In the next step you need to select the Map of the Layers.

In the next step all Layers of the Map get listed. Select all Layers for which you want to configure Grouprights for Layers.

In the next step, the detailed Grouprights get specified.

In the top part of the wizard page, you can assign an existing Filter object or create a new Filter.

In the bottom part of the wizard page, you can configure the general access rights to the Layer.

Note: If you want to be able to search or spatially select on a Layer then the ‘Display’ option must be always set as a prerequisite.

Edit Grouprights for Layers data

In the final step you get a resume. Click the Finish button for storing your edits.
