WebOffice author is the tool to create and manage WebOffice 10 R3 projects.
WebOffice author is an extension for ArcMap and therefore requires an ArcView 10 SP2 installation at least. It needs to be installed on every machine where a user wants to maintain WebOffice 10 R3 project configurations.
WebOffice author setups on WebOffice10R3-DVD:
- WebOffice10R3-DVD\Software\WebOffice author\en\WebOfficeauthor.msi (English setup)
- WebOffice10R3-DVD\Software\WebOffice author\de\WebOfficeauthor.msi (German setup)
Note: If you experience troubles installing the setup you can log the installation steps using the msiexec -i installation functionality (msiexec -x for uninstall). Type msiexec in your command line window to get an overview of the logging options. E.g. install the setup with these options to get a log file with detailed information: msiexec –i <path to setup.msi> /l*v <path to create log file in>\install.log
After running the setup you have to activate the WebOffice author extension in ArcMap.
