For requesting a WebOffice 10 R3 license you first need to determine the primary MAC address of the WebOffice 10 R3 Application server machine.
The fastest (but not safest) way to get the MAC address is to start the WebOffice 10 R3 administration pages by entering the URL in the browser: http://<myServer>/WebOffice/synadmin
Standard Password is admin
There go to the tab 'License'.

Reading the MAC address
Note: Please be sure to use the physical MAC-address only!
Note: The MAC-address is not allowed to relate to any local IP address, i.e. the address cannot begin with 169.254!
Alternatively it is possible to open the command line ("Run…") and enter:
1)cmd
2)ipconfig /all

Open command line DOS box

Using command ipconfig /all
With the MAC address of your web-application server you are ready to request a license file from SynerGIS.
Please contact SynerGIS at:
e-mail: web-keycode@mysynergis.com
phone: +43 1 87806 - 76
e-mail for German Customers: lizenzen@aed-synergis.de
You need to provide
•Your name (client name)
•The MAC address
•The software component including the version, e.g. “WebOffice 10 R3 basic” (see column ‘License level’ below in the screenshot) and
•An e-mail address to which SynerGIS should send the license file.
Once you have received your license file (license.properties) you need to upload it directly via SynAdmin.
Open the administration page SynAdmin http://<myserver>/WebOffice/synadmin and navigate to the "License" tab.
Press the "Browse" button an select the received license file (license.properties). Then, finish licensing by pressing the "Import License" button.

Import License via SynAdmin
After importing the license SynAdmin will ask you to reload the application. Submit by pressing the "OK" button and log-in again.

Approve reloading Application after License Import
Now check in the "License" tab if the license is installed correctly: In the Licensed and Expiration date columns you can control the availability of the installed license.
