Project name (alias) |
Alias name of project. The name is shown in the user interface of the project change (map change) functionality is configured. Note: The shown name is not equal to the project id used for identifying a project (e.g. needed when using the project parameter in the URL used for starting a project). The project id is the name of the project configuration file (without file extension). |
Metadata URL |
Configure a reference to a metadata document (must be available via HTTP) as URL. You may configure the unique Metadata document identifier (UUID) of a Catalog Service (CSW 2.0) here. For this you must configure the SOAP interface of the Catalog Services using Metadata display. |

User name |
Specifies an optional user name (together with attribute password) for simple access restriction. |

Defines Password (with User name) for simple access restriction. |
Project properties - General category
Note: The simple access restriction (configuration of a user name and password) is only recommended for securing a WebOffice 10 R3 project during designing process. If the simple access restriction is used for productive WebOffice 10 R3 projects, there will be limitations in usability. For securing productive WebOffice 10 R3 projects, SynerGIS recommends to use WebOffice usermanagement.
If WebOffice 10 R3 application is called upon without being directed to any specific project, the application will display a window listing all available projects. Within that list, the configured project properties will be shown in Project Name (Alias). On calling WebOffice 10 R3 in another language, the project name will automatically be translated into the required language of use and displayed as such.
