MapTip is available when configured in WebOffice author. The target layer can be selected in an own MapTip form. Some configurations on a connected search result – Integration of external applications – hyperlink, have no effect on the WebOffice flex client MapTip. The MapTips are always in a certain size and resolve hyperlinks automatically.

 

 

 

Note: In order to get a better overview of layers that can be searched it is possible to categorize them. More details about the configuration of categories for MapTip can be found in chapter List of Layer Categories.

 

 

 

 

Additionally to the configured result fields, neighbor searches, hyperlinks, external applications and ePapers are shown in the MapTip result.

 

 

Depending on the project configuration MapTip can be  used as a continuously activated tool that either permanently requests information or or gets executed by single click events. A configurable icon tells the user the tool is requesting information.
