Apache Tomcat is the recommended and certified Servlet Engine used for running WebOffice 10 R3.

Notes:
•Generally it is recommended to use the latest Apache Tomcat Version.
•If installing the Tomcat using the Windows installer (*.exe, link above), Tomcat will be installed in the version for the architecture of your OS. Be sure to use all components (java, Tomcat, redirector, database drivers) for the same architecture!
•It is recommended to install Tomcat in a directory named ‘Tomcat’ directly under your drive root (see chapter Recommended Servlet Engine (Tomcat) installation for details), i.e. avoid version information in the directory name (do not use the value proposed by Tomcat Setup routine i.e. Tomcat6035). This way you do not need to change any directory names if Tomcat gets upgraded to another higher version.
•Apache Tomcat has to be installed as service and MUST point to the Java JDK directory installed before (see Java).
