The Overview Map by default is located in the upper left corner of the map.

 

 

You can navigate within the overview map:

•pan by keeping the current scale by simply clicking on the desired new location in the Overview map

•zoom by drawing a rectangle box using the mouse (press left mouse button and release when you have finished the box)

 

         

 

You can maximize/minimize the overview map by clicking the button shown in the left image. By default the overview map will be maximized but it can be hidden at startup by configuration. Pressing the other button allows you to move the overview map by dragging it.

 

         

 

Dynamic Overview Map

It is possible to configure a dynamic overview map meaning that the overview map will be displayed using the main map extent with a specified extent factor. Therefore, if you zoom into the map the overview map will also zoom in.

 

         

 

Overview Map Size

Adjust the size of the overview map window to fit best for your overview map. Simply define the number of pixels for your overview map in combination with the right display extent.
