The tool Esri Print allows the user to create high-quality print documents in various file output formats, sizes and resolutions based on a geoprocessing service. Use, for example, the geoprocessing service PrintingTool that was automatically created during the installation of ArcGIS Server. If you want to use this PrintingTool, then assign the value Export Web Map Task in the configuration of the attribute Geoprocessing Task ID.

ArcGIS Server standard PrintingTool
The PrintingTool include the following templates by default:
•A3 (portrait/landscape)
•A4 (portrait/landscape)
•Letter ANSI A (portrait/landscape)
•Tabloid ANSI B (portrait/landscape)
•only map
Note: The templates for this PrintingTool will be read from the ArcGIS Server installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\Templates\ExportWebMapTemplates). Additional templates may be saved here as *.mxd files if the installed ArcGIS version is lower than 10.6 and as *.pagx files if the installed ArcGIS version is 10.6 or higher and can be configured as Template (File Name).
The PrintingTool supports the following output formats:
•PNG32
•PNG8
•JPG
•GIF
•EPS
•SVG
•SVGZ
Note: Output formats may be configured for the PrintingTool in Print File Output Formats.

Esri print properties
Note:
•ESRI print does not offer as many functionalities as WebOffice print. For details on configuration in WebOffice author standalone see chapter Print.
•In certain scenarios, a WMS service cannot be printed because the 'BASIC' authentication in the Esri Print tool is not supported. In this case, please use the WebOffice 10.8 SP2 default Print.
•The scenario that both, the Esri Print and the WebOffice 10.8 SP2 default Print are configured, is possible with WebOffice 10.8 SP2 but is not an officially supported scenario.
