For every feature map a north arrow should be displayed. The north arrow is inserted by dragging and dropping the north arrow icon from the tools on the left side. Befor you define the settings of the north arrow, it is advantageous to define the size of the north arrow rectangle by changing it with the mouse. For instance, define the size of the north arrow rectangles with a length of 2 cm and a width of 1.6 cm.

 

With a double click on the north arrow, the properties dialog opens, where you can define the size and the style of the north arrow. Don’t forget to choose the map, for which you want to display the north arrow.
