A Feature Map is a map that represents a GIS feature. For every selected feature one map is inserted. The map is added in the designer by dragging and dropping the databand from the Dictionary tab. In this example the PARCEL_FEATUREMAP (17) is added. In the data dialog (18) of the feature map it is this time not necessary to choose an attribute.

 

In the next step the map is inserted into the feature map section. Before doing this, the DataPARCEL_FEATUREMAP section must be enlarged to the desired map output size. Click the Feature Map button (19) inside the toolbar on the left side of the layout and draw the map into the Feature Map section (20). Next, the Feature Map Properties dialog (21) opens.
