Configure a Edit User element to specify the database user for editing the geodata in the database.

Edit user configuration

Editing database user	Database user which is used for writing into the edited layer (feature class).
Password	Password
Password (Pwd confirmation)	Pwd confirmation

Edit user properties

Note: Please check if the database user is able to edit (write) into the database. You can easily do this by editing with ArcMap using this user account.

Note: If ArcGIS Server Workgroup is used then no edit user can be configured because the corresponding operating system user is used automatically.

Note: Edit user is an optional configuration element. If you do not configure it then the database user of the data source in the corresponding map layer is used.
