The configuration view settings help you to keep the WebOffice author as simple as possible. Check the desired modules to make their specific parameters visible in the WebOffice author. The other way round, this means that you can suppress module specific parameters which are probably not needed during your configuration.

Lets assume you want to configure a WebOffice 10.5 SP2 project for the WebOffice html client, without any intention to use it in neither the WebOffice flex (flash) nor the WebOffice mobile client. During configuration of e.g. layer queries you would usually have the option to define several flex specific parameters (indicated by blue color).

Since your project is supposed to be HTML only, uncheck Flex and Mobile in the configuration view.

Now, all flex or mobile specific parameters will no be displayed in WebOffice author, thereby removing all nonessential information.
