Navigation:  WebOffice clients > WebOffice flex Client > Get Current Location

If configured, users can get their current location by clicking 4 in the vertical toolbar of the WebOffice flex client. After activating the tool, the map will center at the user position, showing an accuracy circle (optional) and some information about position and accurcay as notifications.

Note: Note that due to security the geolocation tool can only be available with an SSL connection via HTTPS in current browsers. For testing on the WebOffice 10.5 SP2 server you can also use localhost in your URL with HTTP.

 

The position marker will be updated by interval as configured in your WebOffice 10.5 SP2 project, but the map extent will not be refreshed after user interaction (i.e. pan or zoom by the user). In order to center the map again to the current position, the user stops the geolocation tool and starts it again.
