Feature Classes

Use the Feature Classes wizard to create, modify or delete feature class references. Use this wizard especially then, if you want to remove a feature class from your WebOffice usermanagement database that is outdated. Feature classes usually are created automatically in the UMDB when synchronizing the base data via WebOffice author.

Note: A feature class that you want to delete must not be referenced in any Layer in the WebOffice usermanagement database.

Note: Before creating a new feature class in the UMDB manually, you have to create the according Data Source first.

 

When modifying an existing feature class, first select one.

Property

Description

Name

Specify the name of the feature class.

Note: This field is mandatory.

Description

Optionally, provide some description for this feature class.

Data Source

Select a valid data source.

Note: This field is mandatory.

Data source properties

 

Within the third step, it is possible to define attribute fields of the feature class.

Note: This step is optional, the feature class may be created without specific attribute fields being added.

In the final step you get a resume. Click the Finish button to store your edits.
