Note: WebOffice 10.3 SP2 supports ArcGIS 10.3 and ArcGIS 10.3.1 (as well as ArcGIS 10.2.1 and 10.2.2).

Important Note: SynerGIS recommends the installation of WebOffice 10.3 SP2. The installation of WebOffice 10.3 (core version) is supported on released ArcGIS 10.2.1/10.2.2, but not for ArcGIS 10.3 due to the following reasons:

It is not possible to publish OGC services on a server operating system with European language settings without any errors -> Esri BUG NIM000084759.
Caused by some changes in the Esri base technology, the WebOffice extensions components for ArcGIS 10.3 (plot, ePaper, extract server) are currently not available.

It is because of these reasons, that WebOffice 10.3 (core version) - if combined with ArcGIS 10.3 - is delivered without WebOffice extensions. So the output functionality of WebOffice 10.3 (core version) with ArcGIS 10.3 is limited to Esri Print standards.

All other functionalities are guaranteed in all supported versions.

Note: For details regarding installation and configuration of Esri ArcGIS 10.3 for Server, please see the ArcGIS Resources - Installing ArcGIS for Server on one machine, Installing ArcGIS for Server on multiple machines.

Note: In general SynerGIS recommends to use the latest version of the basic software: ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Server. When using WebOffice 10.3 with ArcGIS 10.3 for Server please consider the restricted functionality from the note above.

Note: Please find current recommendations of processors for ArcGIS 10.3 for Server in http://wiki.gis.com/wiki/index.php/Platform_Performance.

For WebOffice 10.3, ArcGIS 10.2.1, 10.2.2 or 10.3 for Server needs to be installed and licensed. During installation, you will have to provide a name and password for the ArcGIS Server account. Specifying either a local account or a domain account is possible:

Using a local account:
Local account and password have to exist on each GIS server and be identical. If a specified local account does not exist it will be created.
Using a domain account:
A domain account makes it easier to access data on remote systems. If a specified domain account does not exist, the installation will return an error.

Supported combinations of OS and ArcGIS for Server concerning multilingual installations:

English OS, English ArcGIS (Server and Desktop)
German OS, German ArcGIS (Server and Desktop)
