SynerGIS provides a specific WebOffice 10.2 Migration Tool that can be used to migrate
| • | application configuration |
from WebOffice 10R3 to WebOffice 10.2.
The WebOffice 10.2 Migration Tool is thereby used to update the following configurations:
| • | application configuration |
| o | update DB-connection parameter for read/write access |
| o | update potential LDAP server url |
| o | update full-text search application address |
| o | update proxy server and proxy server exceptions |
| o | transform former ArcGIS Server administrative account to new ArcGIS for Server publisher account |
| o | update former ArcGIS Server map services to new ArcGIS Server Map Services |
| o | create the new ArcGIS Server Output Service SynOutputService |
| o | create the new ArcGIS Server geometry service |
| o | replaces former syntax of GIS services with new REST URL syntax |
Besides the WebOffice 10.2 Migration Tool also checks if application, project and usermanagement database are valid and updates the scheme according to WebOffice 10.2.
Although it is not mandatory, SynerGIS recommends to migrate your GIS services to ArcGIS 10.2 for Server first, before migrating WebOffice specific components. If for any reason it is not possible to publish your GIS services before migrating your WebOffice projects you will still have to specify the future names of your GIS services during migration.
Note: A detailed description how to migrate GIS service to ArcGIS 10.2 for Server you can find in the ArcGIS Resources - Migration checklist.
