WebOffice extract server

The WebOffice extract server - extract data tool is the geodata extraction module which provides powerful export functionality for the WebOffice html client:

Geodata extraction profiles for grouping together sets of data layers to be exported
Multiple different GIS output formats
Multiple different CAD output formats
Raster output formats
Export into various projections

 

In order to use WebOffice extract server you have to purchase the following licenses:

WebOffice 10.2 SP3 standard
WebOffice extract server
WebOffice usermanagement

 

Be sure that the following software components are installed:

WebOffice 10.2 SP3
WebOffice extensions 10.2
WebOffice author
UserManagement Admin Web

 

In order to provide WebOffice extract server functionality in WebOffice 10.2 SP3, you need to specify the WebOffice extract server - extract data tool in WebOffice author:

Use tool?

Control if this tool is available in the WebOffice 10.2 SP3 Client or not.

Default projection

Specify a specific default projection. If the field is left empty, the projection of the main map service will be taken as default projection.

WebOffice extract server - extract data tool properties

 

As subelements it is possible to configure

Export Profile for exporting vector data (GIS & CAD formats)
Export Profile Raster Data for exporting raster data (GeoTIFF)
List of Projections for defining the projections that should be available for the user
ArcGIS Server Extract Service as an optional output service especially for WebOffice extract server

Note: You need to activate the WebOffice extract server extension on your SynOutputService (or the specific ArcGIS Server Extract Service) as described in Activate SOE on a Map Service.

Note: In WebOffice usermanagement, be sure that you have configured an Application Profile that includes the WebOffice - Export (Standard) Application Role and assigned to a group.
