Property

Description

E-Mail of system administrator

User can send an email with a problem or handling question to the system administrator.

A mail to link will be displayed by WebOffice 10.9 R4 clients if either an error occurs or if the user looks into the online help. On the bottom of the help document a mail to link is available. This way the user can give feedback.

In case of errors the error code, timestamp and application base URL will be transferred to the body of the mail.

Related Objects as Tree?

Specifies if multi-level related objects are displayed as a structured tree (true, default) in the user interface, or if the structure is not exposed to the user (false).

Restricted GUI?

Restricts the possibilities for the user to change the WebOffice html client GUI, by hiding the menus for docking/floating different user interface modules?

Default User Profile

If a profile with the given name exists and if WebOffice 10.9 R4 is called without userprofile parameter, then this profile is to be used. If the user already defined his own profile via WebOffice usermanagement (local or on the server), then this custom profile is taken into account instead of any default profile.

Pixel tolerance for Vertex selection

Pixel tolerance for vertex selection specifies the distance in pixels within a vertex of the currently edited object can be selected.

Demand HTTP compression?

Specifies if all outgoing HTTP requests will demand compression of the response (true, default) or not (false). This way, HTTP responses can be compressed to reduce the data size.

If the HTTP source does not support HTTP compression, the response will be transmitted uncompressed.

Queries

Max hits

Set maximum count of hits shown in Search result and in map display.

If a user does a search which exceeds this limit then a notification and no search results are displayed.

Number of search suggestions

Specifies the count of values returned by WebOffice 10.9 R4.

The use of this option is recommended for WebOffice mobile projects but not within a hierarchical search.

The suggestion count limitation will only be used if "Merge search fields?" in Query - where clause is set to "true". Therefore, check the corresponding layer configuration!

CAUTION!

WebOffice 10.9 R4 may not display all values but only as many as configured.

Compact search form?

Control the layout of the search form in the WebOffice 10.9 R4 clients.

Show concatenator in the search form?

Specifies whether search forms with more than one field shall be decorated with concatenations ("and", or "or") to indicate how the fields will be combined.

The concatenations and a visual grouping of field that belong together make it easier to understand the structure of the query that will be produced.

Search form at start visible?

Specifies whether having the search form at start visible (Yes) or hidden (No).

This parameter is WebOffice flex client specific.

Default query

Optionally specify the default query to use. This query is automatically selected during start up of the WebOffice 10.9 R4 clients.

Store Query Builder queries?

Enables storing of query builder queries for users (true).

Show searchresult on?

Defines if a minimized search result should be maximized on hovering the title bar (OnMouseOver) or on mouse-click (OnClick).

Number formats

Use MXD field formatting?

Specifies if the field formatting specified in field properties dialog of ArcMap gets used. If "false then Result precision is used for numeric fields, Date format? is used for date fields.

To use MXD field formats it is necessary to activate the Server Object Extension on the corresponding ArcGIS Server service.

Field precisions from feature classes from a personal geodatabase (PGDB) are not readable.

Result precision

Specifies global formatting for numeric floating values (data type double). Defines the count of after-comma digits which get used for display of floating point values.

In course of the full-text search, this setting does not affect field values of type SINGLE OR DOUBLE.

Measure precision

Specifies how many digits after the comma should be used for display of measured values.

Coordinate precision

Specifies how many digits after the comma should be used for displaying the map coordinates.

In WebOffice flex, this setting also has effect on the coordinate decimal digits used in the geolocation notification.

Group numbers for Scale?

Either groups the numbers for scale (Yes) or not (No). This affects all the forms where scales can be chosen, e.g. the print form.

Example:

scale ungrouped: 1155581

scale grouped: 1,155,581

Text settings

Date format

Specifies the date format for fields of type date.

Time format

Specifies the time format for fields of type date/datum. Several formats (no long writing support) using day (DD), month (MM) and year (YYYY) as numerical values, separated by . or / . Order of day, month and year is not fixed, number of fields determined in a formatting string.

Hide time for audit fields

Specifies whether time should be hidden for audit fields (e.g. CREATE_DAT" and "CHANGE_DAT").

"true" means that only the date will be displayed for these fields.

Output

Project name in output filename?

Specifies whether to use the project name as part of the output file name when e.g. generating CSV (comma separated values) files.

The archiving of plot outputs and ePaper outputs must be configured in order to use this functionality.

Archive plot output?

Specifies whether print output is archived (as PDF document) or not.

Documents get archived in the folder WEB-INF\work\archive in the web application.

The document name contains creation, time stamp and user name:

YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_USER.pdf.

Special characters get replaced with "_"

The archiving function does not do deletion or clean up for limiting the count of archived documents in the archiving folder.

Archive ePaper output?

Specifies whether ePaper output is archived (as .pdf, .xlsx, etc document) or not.

Documents get archived in the folder WEB-INF\work\archive in the web application.

The document name contains creation time stamp, a random number and the user name:

YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_RANDOMNUMBER_USER.pdf (.pdf, etc).

The random number is necessary to avoid file name related conflicts.

Special characters get replaced with _'-

Secure PDF?

Specifies whether PDF print and ePaper outputs should be protected. This prevents content from being copied from the PDF documents.
