Create group restrictions for layers - step 3 select layer
Restrictions for layers only refer to layer level and can not be inherited (e.g. from a group layer). |
In the next step, the detailed group rights get specified.
In the top part of the wizard page, you may assign an existing filter object or create a new filter. The example below shows a filter that will restrict the layer Cadastral Municipalities" to objects with value 63101 in the field KGNR.
In the bottom part of the wizard page, you can configure the general access rights for the layer. The example below allows the users of the specified group to see the layer, use queries and spatial selections/identifies for the layer but they are not allowed to edit this layer in any way.
•Regarding editing restrictions you can differ between "Edit Attributes" and "Edit Geometry". •If you want to be able to search or spatially select on a layer then the "Display" option must be always set as a prerequisite. |
