SOE Logging
If you are not getting enough information from the Server Object Extension log file, please follow the steps below:
1. Set BRIDGE to DEBUG
Set the WebOffice 10.9 R4 application logger BRIDGE in SynAdmin in the Logging Tab to DEBUG.
Set loglevel BRIDGE to DEBUG
2. Replicate the issue
Replicate the issue in the WebOffice 10.9 R4 client, e.g. by doing a print.
3. Set Server Object Extension log levels to DEBUG
Check the WebOffice 10.9 R4 log file. You will find two URLs in it for setting the SOE specific log categories MAP and HANDLER to DEBUG. Execute these URLs in your browser:
Note: These URLs change the log levels of the file syn_state_default.json (<ArcGIS Server location>\directories\WebOfficeSystem\<102.x.x.yyyymmddhhmm>\).
4. Replicate the issue again
Replicate the issue in the WebOffice 10.9 R4 client again, e.g. by doing a print.
5. Check Server Object Extension log file
By copying the following link to your browser, you can access the Server Object Extension log file:

6. Reset the Server Object Extension log levels
After analyzing the Server Object Extension log file don't forget to reset the log levels of the Server Object Extension and the WebOffice 10.9 R4 application. For resetting the Server Object Extension log open the file syn_state_default.json (<ArcGIS Server location>\directories\WebOfficeSystem\<102.x.x.yyyymmddhhmm\) and change back the log categories to the default settings from below.
