Via the tool Info it is possible to ask very simple for attributes of any objects. If this tool is configured then the Info symbol appears in the upper segment of the toolbar in the WebOffice mobile client. The administrator can choose between two options how to provide the Identify tool:

using crosshair

using touch

Note: Details on how to configure this tool please find in chapter Identify.

Note: With the parameter Identify using Touch? in the Project configuration, you can decide which way of identifying shall be used. For very accurate identify operations it is recommended to select Identify using crosshair, for faster and more intuitive identify operations choose Identify using touch.

Identify using crosshair

If choosing the option Identify using crosshair, a crosshair will appear in the center of the map. Move the map in a way that the feature to identify is underneath the crosshair. The position of the crosshair is always the center of the map. By moving the map underneath the crosshair, simple and quick Info can be done on smaller displays.

Identify using touch

If selecting the option Identify using touch, simply touch (or click when using WebOffice mobile client on a desktop browser) at the position where the marker is to be set. A pin marker will be placed at the position, identifying the object underneath it. The map does not have to be moved to identify different objects. When using this method for identifying, the administrator can choose to set the Info tool always active. Only if other tools from the lower toolbar are activated, identify is paused. If this option was selected, a message will always appear after project start telling Click the objects on the map to display more information.
