The WebOffice flex client is designed to be used by touch but can also be used with a mouse including a mouse wheel. Additionally, you can use the zoom buttons and context menu to navigate in the map.

 

Touch

Use one finger to pan the map, and use two fingers to zoom. Pull them together to zoom out and push them apart to zoom in. Press long to open the context menu.

 

Mouse

If used on a desktop, users can navigate with the mouse too.

 

Menu Item

Description

Left mouse button

Performs action of currently active tool. If no tool with a tool form is active, then you can pan the map dragging the mouse with the left mouse button.

Right mouse button

Clicking at the right mouse button will open a context menu.

Zoom Buttons

If configured two buttons 1 and 2 on the right side additionally allow the users to zoom in or out.

Rotation

If configured, it is possible to rotate the map in the WebOffice flex client. When using a mouse rotate the map by dragging it while holding the right mouse click. On touch devices use a pinch gesture to rotate the map.  As soon as the map is rotated a north arrow button flexjs_Navigation3 is shown in the navigation toolbar that rotates with the map. Click the button to set back the map to true north.

Context Menu

With the context menu, users have the following options to navigate:

Zoom In

Zoom Out

Set Scale

Center
