Add Data
Tool Add Data in the <%CORE> client
Use the tool Add Data to add the following data:
•local vector data
•local raster data
Find more information about supported data formats in the table in the bottom. Users can also find this information in the online help by clicking the button in the Project Settings of the WebOffice core client or using the F1 Key.
Important Note: The tool Add Data can only be used if dynamic workspaces are activated for the SynOutputService. Find more details in chapter Add Dynamic Workspaces to SynOutputService.
Note: It's also possible to store uploaded local geodata permanently by using WebOffice states, wherefore these data are also available after the current WebOffice session. Therefore, please consider the necessary settings in WebOffice author standalone (see chapter Bookmarks) as well as the required steps for saving a WebOffice state (see chapter States).
Add Data tool settings in the WebOffice core client
The uploaded geodata and its symbology will be displayed in the table of content of the WebOffice core client. Use the text input box Labeling to control the name of the added layer.
Note: With the WebOffice core client it is possible to upload geodata with drag & drop directly into the tool form. This function is supported for Internet Explorer 10+, Google Chrome 31+ and Mozilla Firefox 28+.
